Three idiots is Nanban in Tamil and Three Rascals in Telugu

The Hindi hit film Three Idiots is being remade in Tamil and Telugu. The Hindi film Three Idiots had Amir Khan, Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani in the cast. Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the remake rights of this film to be made in Tamil and Telugu. The film is to be directed by the magnificent director K Shankar. He is directing this film after the super duper hit film Endhiran which is still running in packed house.

The Tamil version of the Three Idiots has been titled as Nanban. This film has Vijay, Jeeva and Srikanth in the cast. Vijay is donning the role which Amir Khan did in the original version while Jeeva will do the role which Madhavan did and Srikanth will do the role of Sharman Joshi. Ileana is pairing with Vijay. Sathyaraj is donning the role of the professor which was done by Boman Irani.

The Telugu version will have Mahesh Babu in the cast. Ileana is doing the female lead roles. The Telugu version is titled as Three Rascals.
