Chikku Bukku is a romantic journey

Director Manikandan says that Chikku Bukku is story of a romantic journey. The film which has Arya, Shreya and Preethika Rao in the cast is being released this Friday. Manikandan while speaking about this film said,” The story of this film begins in London and ends in Karaikkudi.

The film is about two persons who meet in a journey. I have narrated this commercial story which has friendship, romance, anger and separation. Though this film is a romantic one, importance has been given for comedy. Arya- Shreya pair is so beautiful in this film.

It looks as if they are made for each other. The film’s highlight is the music. There are seven songs in this film. The music has been composed by Hariharan and Leslie.

Each song is of a different variety. Preethika Rao is the sister of the Bollywood actress Amirtha Rao. The heroine selection took place in Mumbai. Only after selecting Preethika, we came to know that she was the sister of Amirtha Rao. Her role in this film has much significance.”
