Arya apologizes to Tamil Cinema who made him a successful hero

AryaArya in a statement said,” I first and foremost extend my greetings and wishes to Tamil cinema members and Tamil fans. In the recent times there were some news in the media that I have spoken ill of Tami cinema.

All of you might have read it. It was you who encouraged me in my debut film Ullam Ketkume and made me an actor in the film Nan Kadavul. It was you who gave me the status of a hero in Madrasapattinam and Boss Engira Bhaskaran.

IF that is the case, do you think that I would have spoken bad about Tamil cinema. Because of you and the status you gave me made me great and was invited to all the forums including this controversial Dubai festival.

I even would not dream about talking bad about Tamil cinema which gave me life and fame. If at all had I hurt the feelings of anyone, I hereby tender my heartfelt apologies. At this juncture I would like to thank Radha Ravi, Sarath Kumar and Vagai Chandrasekaran for their support in this issue. Finally I also thank Mr Ramanarayanan, President of the Tamil Film Producers Council for intervening in this matter and settling it amicably.”

Arya not ready to accept defeat

It seems Aarya is not prepared to sit back and accept defeat. The actor, who is in the controversy for showing his displeasure on Kollywood, says that he has never spoken any ill on Tamil film industry and that he has been framed in a case of which he is not guilty.

The actor is presently busy with the post production work of his upcoming Tamil flick Chikku Bukku. At the same time, he has also sought the help of the Nadigar Sangam to help in his endeavor to prove himself innocent. Aarya says that Kollywood is the industry in which he has worked for such a long period of time in his career and it is also the industry in which he has invested his own money. Therefore, it is practically illogical that he would make wrong comments about the Tamil film industry.

Aarya has been alleged of belittling the Tamil film industry in an international platform at Dubai at an event arranged by a Malayalam network. However, Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) has disassociated itself from actor Aarya’s controvery.

Surya vs Arya

The year 2010 has seen many ups and downs in Tamil film industry. Many actors have tasted success including Surya and Aarya. Now, these stars are heading for a clash with Rakta Charitra and Chikku Bukku releasing on December 3.

Ram Gopal Varma directorial movie Rakta Charitra (RC) is a biopic of Paritala Ravindra (factionist and politician) and Suryanarayanan Reddy aka Maddelacheruvu Suri. The film is being made in two parts and the first instalment has become a huge hit in Telugu and Hindi and in Tamil RC1 and 2 are hitting the screens simultaneously. The trailer and promos have already created a buzz among the masses in Tamil Nadu. But as RGV said earlier, the movie is not for the lily-livered. Nor is it for those who love to visit cineplexes with their families.

On the other hand, Aarya, who has given back-to-back hits like Madrasapattinam and Boss Engira Bhaskaran, is coming back with a romantic film Chikku Bukku. He has played a chocolate hero role in the flick. The movie is said to be a breezy love story, which also features Shreya Saran and Preeta Rao in the leads. The movie is a complete contrast to RC. The movie is is a complete family entertainer without any violence. It has already generated hype among youth and class audiences.

Nonetheless, the movies are completely different from each other. Along with these film, Sanikizhamai Sayangalam 5 Mani and Thaa are also hitting the screens on December 3.

AryaAmirtha Rao is a Bollywood actress. Her sister Preethika is acting in Chikku Bukku. She while speaking to the media said,” I who was modeling in Mumbai use to write articles for a film magazine.

My photo was published along with the article. Seeing this photo, director Manikandan approached the magazine’s editor and got my address. Then he met me in person and asked me whether it was possible for me to act in a role which was supposed to be done by Vidhya Balan.

He said that I got this opportunity because he was not able to get Vidhya Balan’s call sheet and moreover this is a surprising role. I agreed to act in this role because I liked the character and also I was being introduced in Tamil.

The shooting of this film took place in Ooty, Mysore and Karaikkudi. Arya who is doing the lead role was very friendly. He gave me a lot of tips that how I should maintain my physique and beauty. It was very useful for me.”
